When dogs spend a good deal of time outdoors, running on various hard surfaces, their nails are gradually worn down, lessening the need for formal nail-grooming sessions. But today, with many owners at work, it has greatly reduced outdoor time for our beloved dogs, impacting their well-being.

When nails are so long they constantly touch the ground, exerting force back into the nail bed, creating pain for the dog and pressure on the toe joints.
